Autonomic technically is about auto-responsive systems, ones that self update without human intervention. But it often is used in the context of control-loops and computer operators, self healing systems that respond to change/incidents on their own.
Teleo-reactive is an interesting classifier, term, in part because it a) doesn't definitionally exclude human involvement, b) doesn't necessarily have to keep trying to converge on the same goals (not that autonomic has to,
but self-healing often . Its a broader idea, to me.
There's big overlaps with embodied agents or computing, of sensing & re-orienting, & re planning.
